Sorao Sakimura

　　Born in 2001. Filmmaker and animator. A member of 100 Filmmakers 2024, 100 Filmmakers 2023 NEWCOMER, and a 1st year participant of Kodansha Cinema Creator's Lab.

　　He began his career with self-produced short animations, and has been creating video works that appeal to the emotions from their backgrounds.

　　He has a one-of-a-kind visual style that fuses hand-drawn animation, 3DCG, and live action. He has produced many works that value niche, while at the same time encompassing a universal and major sensibility, and has a proven track record in both client work and personal work. He often participates in collaborations as a director, and his specialty is directing work that creates chemical reactions while maintaining a sense of direction.

　　He is active in a wide range of activities from short films to music videos and advertisements, using his rich expressive power as a weapon.
