Sorao Sakimura

　　Born in 2001. Filmmaker and animation artist. Selected as the Newcomer for '100 filmmakers of 2023 in Japan'. A first-year participant of the Kodansha Cinema Creators Lab.

　　He started his career as a short film maker, and his background has led him to create emotionally charged works with "Narrative" at the core.

　　With a philosophy of "mixing," he has a unique visual style that fuses hand-drawn animation, 3DCG, and live action. He has a lot of experience in both client work and personal work, and has produced a lot of works that have a universal and major sensibility while valuing niche. He often participates in collaborations as a director, and his specialty is directing work that creates chemical reactions while maintaining a sense of direction.

　　He has worked on a wide range of projects from short films to music videos and advertisements with his rich expressive power based on the pillars of "narrative" and "mixture".
